Install:

1. Clean the shaft, bore, outside of the hub, and hub hole (if assembled, remove the hub from the hub). Remove any oil. Paint or dirt. Put the bushing into the hub and match the half holes to make full holes (each full hole is threaded on one side only).

2. Apply oil to the tips of the threads and set screws or under the heads of the threads and cap screws. Loosely fit the screws into the threaded holes on the side of the hub; see Mounting Holes.

3. Make sure the bushing is free in the hub. Slide the assembly onto the shaft and place it in the desired location.

4. Tighten the screws alternately and evenly until they are fully tightened. Use the tube on the wrench to add leverage; refer to the taper bushing screw torque you need to ask.

5. If it is a stall key, place it in the shaft keyway before installing the tapered bushing.

6. After the drive runs with load for some time, stop the machine from checking the tightness of the screws. Other holes are filled with grease to remove dirt.
